Description:
We are looking for a DevOps / Infra Engineer to join our client’s team on a subcontract basis.
The actual project would be to help migrate the old platform under PCI scope to the new one that would be serverless built on top of AWS Fargate under EKS. We have other components on non-PCI platform ready, built using ArgoCD and Jenkins as we would like to use these components to not reinvent the wheel.
Should have:
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Amazon Fargate (ideally experience with Fargate run under EKS), ArgoCD, Jenkins, AWS
- Familiarity with PCI standard and related security requirements would be a great advantage
- Knowledge of Postgres and Redis would be great advantages (as we would be moving from self-managed Postgres and Redis clusters to AWS Aurora and AWS Elasticache)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Endlish - Upper-Intermediate
Nice to have:
- Experience with hosting Ruby on Rails
Responsibilities:
- A couple of examples of the projects for the upcoming months would be to finish migration from current non-modern infra to something fully based on AWS EKS/helm charts/ArgoCD/Jenkins or migrate the infra in PCI scope to something based on AWS Fargate (serverless)
